The lake is clear and pleasantly warm in summer. From your own jetty you step straight into the water – or row out in the boat.

Once around the lake
The lakeside path takes about three hours to circle the lake, past meadows, forest and small coves. For the view, climb up to the bench above the lake.

Church, baker, inn
The village lies on the other side of the lake and can be reached by boat, bike or on foot: with a bakery, farm shop, inn and a small weekly market.

IN WINTER
Peace, snow and a fire in the hearth
When the mountains turn white, the lake belongs to walkers. A ski area and cross-country trail are 25 minutes away – the sauna waits afterwards.

VIEWPOINT
The bench above the lake
A path leads up through the forest to the viewpoint bench. At the top the whole lake lies before you – loveliest in the early evening when the sun is low.

SUMMER
Geraniums, meadows and mountain lake
From May to September the shore and the village balconies are in bloom. The meadows on the slope invite a picnic, the mountain lake a swim.
